Saskatchewan Learning has initiated School Community Councils as a part of the structuring of the school division. The council consists of parents, community members, students, teachers and the principal. Meetings of the SCC are held on one day of each month at 5:30 pm in the CCHS library with the annual general meeting held each September. Meetings are open to the school community. The role of the SCC is to work in cooperation with the school staff to develop and to implement the school learning improvement plan. In addition to this duty, the SCC is a liaison between the school, parents, guardians and community.
Annual AGM: The SCC annual AGM is held in September. This meeting reviews last year’s business, elects new representatives and sets the agenda for future meetings and orders of business. If you are interested in joining the SCC, please contact the office for the date, time and location of the annual AGM.
