COVID-19 Update (October 26, 2020)
Hello Charger Families,
We want to take this time to thank the public health team, public health Inspector, the testing center, and the laboratory for the hard work they have done yesterday and today. Through the process of rapid testing, more than half of exposed students and majority of staff were completed on Sunday and there were no positive test results. The rest of the students and staff that need to be tested will be done today. If you did not receive a call from the Saskatchewan Health Authority, there is no need for your student to be tested due to this exposure. CCHS reminds people that they should always be self-monitoring and if you are sick please stay at home. We will continue to mandate school wide masking and the hand sanitizing/washing routine as these policies are put in place to help stop the spread if the virus travels into the school.
Our cleaning staff is thoroughly going through the building today using enhanced Covid cleaning procedures and will have the school ready for us tomorrow morning. CCHS will be open for face to face instruction on Tuesday, October 27. We believe the health guidelines and safety protocols make it a safe place to be and learn. A reminder to our Grade 10-12 students that we have 10 days of class left in Quad 1.
If you have any concerns or questions please call one of our administration; Scott Tomporowski, Kristianna Merasty, and Rebecca Slater. Thank you for your trust in us and the processes we have in place to keep students and staff safe.
Thank You,
Mr. Tomporowski
